Make a payment

The easiest payment is the one already scheduled. By default we run an ACH for the contracted amount on your due date — no action required. If you need to:

  • Change due date — call us at least three business days before your next scheduled payment.
  • Make a one-time extra payment — call, email, or stop by the Ripley office. Extra payments go straight against principal and reduce the interest you'll owe.
  • Update bank account on file — we'll send a one-page ACH authorization form. Email or sign in person.
  • Pay off the loan — request a payoff letter; we'll quote the exact figure good through 10 days.
02

Hardship and payment relief

Layoffs, medical events, and unexpected emergencies happen. Call us before the next due date — the earlier you reach out, the more options we have:

  • Short-term forbearance — pause payments for up to 90 days while you stabilize. Interest may continue to accrue, but the missed payments are added to the back of the schedule, not capitalized.
  • Re-amortization — extend the term to lower the monthly payment. APR stays the same; total interest may increase.
  • Reduced-rate workout — for documented long-term hardship, we may reduce APR for the remainder of the loan.
Important. Hardship plans are case-by-case and not guaranteed. We document them in writing. Verbal arrangements alone are not binding.
03

Repossession — and how to avoid it

Repossession is a last resort. Before any vehicle is taken we will: provide written notice of default, allow the cure period required by Mississippi law, attempt phone and mail contact, and offer a workout. If repossession occurs:

  • You'll receive a written notice of the right to redeem and the time you have to redeem;
  • To redeem, pay the past-due amount plus reasonable repossession costs;
  • If the vehicle is sold, surplus proceeds (if any) are returned to you;
  • Any deficiency remains your responsibility and may be reported to credit bureaus.

If you've received a default notice, call +1-333-444-5566 immediately. Most defaults can still be cured at this stage.

04

Credit report disputes (FCRA)

If you believe information we've reported about you to a credit bureau is inaccurate, send a written dispute that includes:

  • Your full name, account number, and current address;
  • The specific item(s) you believe are inaccurate and why;
  • Any supporting documents (statements, payment receipts, court records).

Mail to: FCRA Disputes, Instant Cash Title Loans Inc, 805 City Ave S, Ripley, MS 38663-2906. Or email info@instantcash-titleloans.com with the subject "FCRA Dispute." We investigate and respond within 30 days as required by law.

File a complaint

We'd like the chance to make it right first. Email info@instantcash-titleloans.com with the subject "Formal Complaint" and we'll route to the Owner within one business day. If you're not satisfied with our resolution, you can also escalate to:

  • Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance — 901 Woolfolk State Office Building, Suite A, 501 N West Street, Jackson, MS 39201.
  • Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) — file online at consumerfinance.gov/complaint or call 1-855-411-2372.
  • Mississippi Attorney General — Consumer Protection Division — 550 High Street, Suite 1200, Jackson, MS 39201.
06

Suspected fraud or unauthorized access

If you believe someone has applied for a loan in your name, used your account without permission, or your title was used as collateral without your authorization, contact us immediately:

You should also place a fraud alert with one of the three nationwide consumer reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) and consider filing a report with your local police department and the FTC at identitytheft.gov.

07

Lien release after payoff

Once your loan is paid in full, we file a lien release with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety within five business days. You'll receive a written confirmation by mail. To request a duplicate release letter or paper title afterward, contact us — first replacement is free; subsequent copies have a $5 administrative fee.
